Based on an ancient text unearthed by director, Richard Bowen, Cinderella Moon has been adapted into a a screenplay and brought to life. Filmed on location throughout China's Yunnan Province, a place known as paradise on earth, Cinderella Moon seduces with its extraordinary cinematography, sets and costumes, incorporating wonderful symbolism, metaphor and a strong message about the importance of the balance of male and female. In English. Rated: PG - violence (brief scene where a character is restrained with rope around his neck). Recommended for ages 6+

The screening fee for this show is being donated to HALF THE SKY, an organization devoted to the betterment of Chinese orphaned children, to make as many real-life Cinderella stories come true as possible.

Net proceeds go to Queen Victoria Annex 'Building a New Playground.' Located at 1850 East 3rd  Ave, next to McSpadden Park in East Vancouver, the playground is being demolished and it is up to the parents and families to find the funds to rebuild. Being a school of only 155 children, the challenge of raising funds for a new playground is big.
